Add Player Ad

There are 3 different type of ad types it supports which are the following as:

1) Google DFP (IMA) Ad Tags 2) Linear Ads 3) Non-Linear Ads

1) Google DFP (IMA) Ad Tags

Interactive Media Ads (IMA) is a suite of SDKs that make it easy to integrate multimedia ads into your website and apps. IMA SDKs can request ads from any VAST-compliant ads server and manage ad playback in your apps. IMA can also display companion ads, report metrics to ad servers, and incorporate key buying signals, such as Active View viewability, IDPA/ADID, and content targeting.

In this Ad type, all the information of ad placements (Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Past roll) and number of ads (Videos, Banners) come from the ad tag.

To set an IMA VAST/VMAP ad tag follow these steps:

1) Go to Admin Area>Settings>Ads Manager>Add Player Ad

2) From the Select Ad Type menu choose "DFP Google" 3) Copy your VAST/VMAP tag and insert in "Ad Tag" field

4) Add Description 5) Add Target Impressions (Number of times this ad would be displayed) for this ad campaign. 6) Set Start and End dates for the campaign 7) Select targeted Category and Country if required, leave to "Nothing Selected" for global ad 8) Set Active state to "Yes" 9) To save and click the "Create Ad" Button

Linear (Custom)

The Linear Custom ad allows you to create a custom video (Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Past roll) ad. For creating this type of ad, you will need a direct streamable link of the video in mp4 format and only one video ad can be added in a campaign.

To set a Custom Linear Ad: 1) Go to Admin Area>Settings>Ads Manager>Add Player Ad

2) From the Select Ad Type menu choose "Linear Custom" and then Linear Ad Type such as (Pre-roll, Mid-roll, Past roll) 3) Copy the video link and insert in "Ad Tag" field 4) Add Description 5) Set Cue points if you need to recall the ad 6) If you want the user to be able to Skip the ad, select "Yes" in the Skippable field. 7) Enter the number of seconds after which the user will be able to skip ad in the "Skip Time" field 8) Add Target Impressions (Number of times this ad would be displayed) for this ad campaign. 9) Set Start and End dates for the campaign 10) Select targeted Category and Country if required, leave to "Nothing Selected" for global ad 11) Ad target link to redirect if applicable 12) Set Active state to "Yes" 13) To save and click the "Create Ad" Button

Non-Linear custom Ad

Non-Linear Custom ad allows you to create a custom banner, for creating this type of ad, you may need a direct link of the banner, and only one video ad can be added to a campaign.

1) Go to Admin Area>Settings>Ads Manager>Add Player Ad

2) From the Select Ad Type menu choose "Non-Linear Custom" 3) Copy the image link and insert in "Ad Tag" field or upload the banner directly 4) Add Description 5) In Ad time add the time percentage where the banner will be played 6) Set Cue points if you need to recall the ad 7) Add Target Impressions (Number of times this ad would be displayed) for this ad campaign. 8) Set Start and End dates for the campaign 9) Select targeted Category and Country if required, leave to "Nothing Selected" for global ad 10) Ad target link to redirect if applicable 11) Set Active state to "Yes" 12) To save and click the "Create Ad" Button

To create video specific Ads Go to Admin Area > Manage Videos/Content > Select the Video > Edit > Apply Ad

The steps to ad types are the same as above for the content-specific ads.
